David Kilgallon was the composer of an inter-Celtic collaboration premiered at Yn Chruinnaght in 2015, and which was performed at the Festival Interceltique de Lorient that year, when the Isle of Man and Cornwall were the joint honoured nations. Lors and Thomas took part in those performances. David has made arrangements of Manx music for church organ and for the Isle of Man Wind Orchestra, in addition to composing original pieces. He was a member of the influential band, King Chiaullee, plays with the duo Chronicles and the bands Mec Lir and Retrospecy, as well as being involved with many other forms of music in the Island.
Duo Landat-Moisson will be performing in the Breton-Manx Collaboration with Manx harpist Mera Royle and Breton musicians Lors Landat and Thomas Moisson in the Centenary Centre on Friday 19 July, 7.30pm.
This unique concert is sponsored by Thornton Chartered Financial Planners, and it promises to be an unmissable evening of new and traditional music celebrating the firm friendship between these two Celtic nations!
